Sorry, it's just what id like to see. I also want us to reacquire a more maroon shade of claret. For too long now, IMO, our shade of claret has been on the pinkish side, especially in strong light. Umbro would sort us out, their kits have always been the coolest.

30 dead in street violence since April 20. Amazing how this country was once the most successful in all of Latin America. Huge, educated middle class, massive mineral wealth, coffee exports, and incredible potential for a booming tourism industry. Very sad, and it is a great lesson in how things fall apart quicker than you'd think possible.

I gave their (2002?) Wembley recording a whirl a while back, and was surprised how good they sounded.

I saw them in Massachusetts in 1986, the peak of my metal mania, and they were my top group. They didn't play my two favorite songs (deeper tracks, so I wasn't surprised)....but for their encore the two songs they played were those very tunes- "Phantom of the Opera" and "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner", it just about catapulted me into metal heaven.
