  1. What turns my stomach is the fact that there must be at the very least hundreds of people in England right now who are celebrating this sh*t behind closed doors. This is a very new and confusing sort of battle for Britain. How do you "defeat" this menace?

    Cats...

I LOL @ cats when they get a bit of food they never eat (like a piece of fresh fish) and instead of eating it right away they take it somewhere else, with intent. The way they mimic big cats is incredible.
  3. Cool project, man! I've always been interested in home brewing, just not enough to try it, honestly. But I admire the honest pursuit of tasty suds. How difficult is it to enter the domestic market as a startup commercial brewer in Britain? (This could be more than just a hobby?)
  4. It's a total disgrace, and it further trashes our relationship. A simple message of solidarity would suffice, but not with Donny Boy. Let's hope James Comey drops some bombs on Thursday so we can speed up Trump's removal.
  5. They might feel pressure (real or imagined) or they might think it politically strategic to "act" on this crisis by doing something along the lines of a travel ban.
  6. The article mentions police running from knife wielding attackers. I can see people calling for regular police to carry firearms now.
  7. Absolutely harrowing https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jun/04/it-was-a-rampage-witnesses-describe-horror-of-london-terrorist-attacks
  8. White Americans in their 50's are dropping dead at an astounding rate due to poor health, drugs/alcohol and suicide. It's pretty hopeless out there.
  9. They're clearly waging war directly against England. At what point does this become more than a crisis? Expect the Tories to follow the Trump travel ban blueprint.
  10. Sorry, but if your band's name is "The Fluffers", you are neither metal nor country...
  11. I wonder if there's a country-metal hybrid band out there.

    Philippines

So...not only is their president a homicidal maniac, but the lid they had on their jihadist population has been blown right off with the Manila attack. Troubling to see a new ISIS type front open up in Asia. Indonesia and Malaysia will be watching this very closely I think. USA has a military base there too. Tense times.
  13. We've become a rogue nation which could quickly become isolated if nations seize on this moment. The only problem is we have a massive, bomb-happy military. Trump's budget is all military and tax breaks for billionaires. We are entering a very dangerous time. Huge social/cultural/religious/racial tension here and I don't see things improving. Our credibility on the global stage is basically shot at this point. It's a long way back, I can't believe this country has devolved into this mess. These are really sad days for this country. Germany now has an excuse to expand all aspects of their military. China has more power now by having done nothing at all. This is one of the most embarrassing and potentially devastating political own goals in modern times along with Brexit.
  14. theres already a huge action underway by a growing list of states, universities, and businesses who are negotiating with the UN to stay in the agreement. this is the side of America that I love- organized, sane and capable. i think the world can survive 4 years of trump. i'm just sorry it came to this.
  15. Not bad. The lions aren't for me, but they aren't really offensive either. The blue is too light. They should drop the blue badge, and just put the gold lion on there with AVFC above it in blue. 7/10
  16. The badge needs to go. New owner, and hopefully a new Villa from top to bottom. A new badge can set a positive symbolic tone.
  17. The people who voted for him most likely love his NATO shenanigans. He's playing to them, not the mob of elite socialist Europeans in Brussels. So in one way, he does know what he's doing, and it's just won him the White House. In international affairs, he doesn't have to really try to do anything, he'll coast along and let his advisors push policy.
  18. In his attempt to appear statesmanlike, he fails spectacularly, but succeeds in confirming the Ugly American stereotype.
  19. Unless of course the leak wasn't from within the US or the UK. I think at this point we should just operationally assume there are spies at the highest levels of government, working various ends. But if it is someone at the CIA who has been waiting to **** with Trump, they've really messed up. But it's almost too obvious a move. (within the context of the investigation against Trump). It actually could be from the White House, it's a pure propaganda move either way. Trump was only effective politically because he's been spending against his TV persona. In international politics, he's drowning in the deep end, but he's got people at home, sourrounding him, who would think of this angle, as a way to discredit our own IC. Anything seems possible right now
  20. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, that reporter probably has dirt on him.
  21. Last night I cooked up a mountain of veggies and put them on spaghetti with some Asiago cheese. Really fresh, crunchy, salad-like pasta dish. Great last night, but the leftovers were pretty sad today, and needed some help. Enter my local deli, who get their pork from a local farm, and twist up decent Italian sausage. I fried two links up as my cats went completely insane, and tossed them in a pan of plain tomato sauce (the sausage not the cats). I dumped it all over the warmed up leftovers, added a bit of salt and pepper with a little more cheese, and washed it down with a glass or more of cheap Argentinian Malbec.
