All four of them were really awkward...I doubt the Trumps could understand the Frenchies. I think they were just gibbering at each other for the cameras. But the hands, and the holding, the patting and pulling, the tugging and grasping...like, WTF.

Solid premiere. The Stark allied little lady-warrior steals the show for me, she deserves her own spinoff! Everything else was pretty tidy and it looks like battle lines have been drawn for the big clash.

I just went to this new Mexican place down the street. Nice little room, tons of sunlight, and people watching, unpretentious menu, two TV's that both had the Gold Cup on with volume. Most bars in this area don't have TV's, and this Mexican guy loves his footy, so we connected on that level. He's also some sort of ambient music guy, really obscure soundscape stuff. So much better than the Hot94 garbage everywhere else. Great room, but the bartender looked like he stepped out of a mid nineties Eurotrash nightclub, fake tan, oversized power watch, cologne. Bit of a dandy. I'll be back to convince the owner to hire me.

In New England, May and June were cold and wet, but now the last 10 days have been nothing but sun and dry heat. Spectacular weather, and I was able to spend part of it on the ocean on our little skiff, navigating the wakes of bigger boats. Summer bliss.

I was driving home tonight down a 45mph stretch. I was doing 45. Some knucklehead decided to ride my ass, like way too close, so after about a mile of that I pulled over to let him pass. About a half mile later he blew past a cop who proceeded to pull the guy over. Instant karma.
