I watched the last McGregor fight on some random live stream, gonna try to find one tonight, def not paying for it.

I appreciate this post, but I'm not certain that I agree with it. I think the hyper bombastic style and pace right now sort of fits with how the story has naturally progressed. They've been writing the episodes for a little while now and nobody has seemed to mind that much. The pace does make your head spin though. For me, the mark of a brilliant show is that it can stir such a heightened level of discussion and debate. The show is descending into schmaltz, but I still love it. I've never experienced such a universal obsession like this before, it's pretty funny. Everybody talks about this show around here and I assume most places. I'm fully enjoying this mania. Pissed that we have to wait 2 years now.

Did I read somewhere that Spurs are playing at Wembley for these home games?

BBQ pork ribs slathered in two house sauces, one smoky and vinegary, the other piping hot and sweet. Pickle slices and raw blanched onion for a sort of side dish, and all washed back with canned pale ale.

The pacing has been laughable this entire 7th season, so I wasn't surprised when it was laughable again. I don't have any complaints though. The thing isn't even being written by Martin anymore, and they can't keep churning these out forever. They're giving us a lot of bang for the buck at this point, more than making up for all those boring subplots like Arya's and Bran's. I'm really disappointed that they're waiting 2 years until the last season though. As good as it is, they run the risk of a lot of people tuning it out and spending their money elsewhere.

I'm starting to think everybody is a little bonkers, and it's the people who know they're bonkers but feel like they need to be embarrassed by it who end up with mental health issues. Pressure makes things crack, and sadly for a lot of people I think they put far too much pressure on themselves.

That's more of an older generation thing, and it's pretty much limited to a few specific areas.

Sometimes this actually feels like a nightmare. Normal parameters are totally bent out of shape and there's a sort of surreal fog hanging over everything. Anarchists must be cheering this sh*t.

I've studied the statistics on the state of stasis of the statues statutes and it's staggering.

Maybe the former confederate states can vote on where to build a Confederate Memorial Museum, and privately fund it's operation. They can display all the removed statues there. I'd like to see them replaced with Frederick Douglas and Harriet Tubman statues, people who fought for freedom, not for slavery.

It seems like the statues statutes' status is static.

We need a statute of statues.
