I wonder what a long life as an Inuit would be like, having lived a traditional Inuit life. It seems like a really hard life, and a sparse life, but also pure and bright and real and dangerous, and maybe a real answer to so many of our "1st world" problems we have these days.

Cannabis on it's own, when used responsibly, can enhance your life in many positive ways, physically and otherwise. As can a nice glass of wine or frosty beer. Even an occasional toot is probably alright. It's been shown that MDMA, LSD and mushrooms can be used for PTSD, anxiety and depression. Heroin for it's amazing analgesic effects. I think they should all be legal, educate people and let them decide for themselves. I have no problem with anyone's drug use until it starts to have detrimental effects on themselves and their families, just like any other sort of human behavior.

That's USA out then. There needs to be a total overhaul of the program, top to bottom. It's a positive sign of the times that this result will be unacceptable to millions of supporters. But hard questions need to be asked. It is somehow fitting that USA does not qualify for the World Cup during this Trump fiasco. Too bad, because the team could have been a positive global representative of our country to contrast with our buffoon president. **** it all to hell.

Harvey Weinstein. What a spectacular fall from grace. I'm guessing there are dozens more victims, maybe more than that. Hard to believe some of these "startled" movie stars though, I'm sure they heard stories. Ultimately it was a woman no longer attached to the industry to raise the alarm on him.

I saw Blade Runner. It's a perfect sequel. I'm left feeling more or less the exact same way after seeing the original back in the day. It's a rare film that can bore and excite you in equal measure. Ultimately this sequel will be viewed as a classic too, but not before pissing a lot of people off.

I had a weird one last night. The setting was at first the house I grew up in. I found an unmarked video cassette tape and popped it in a VCR. It was the parking lot scene at a Grateful Dead concert, but much more than that. Christiano Ronaldo was there for a preseason tune-up with Manchester United . Also, tractor trailers and police cruisers were battling out a demolition derby...No idea what any of it means, lol
