One of the residual problems of Trump is that ethically challenged public figures everywhere are using and will use Trump as a legacy cleanser. See: Michael Hayden, GW Bush, James Comey, Bob Corker, etc. GW Bush set the table for Fox News, the Tea Party and Trump. Oh yeah, and he destroyed Iraq.

Alrighty then, he vet says his stitches look good, his temp is normal, and she said that he probably was lethargic because he was dehydrated and needed more pain med. She expects him to make full recovery.

Oscar update: He's back to his original state- lethargic and not eating. I'm gonna take him to my vet in an hour, hopefully they can sort him out.

Bach, morphine and tuna seem to be a winning formula. He's now eating dry treats and walked over to me purring, and then he landed a bunt. Great signs, just have to hope for no infections.

Oscar update: He still wasn't eating food earlier ( no food in last 48 hours). I dosed him up with liquid kitty morphine and went out for a slice. When I got back, the tuna I left for him was gone. The wet and dry cat food wasn't touched. He's on his side now in a relaxed position. I've set him up deluxe- I've got a "Bach guitar" playlist on for him by candlelight. He's in a closed bathroom so Reggie doesn't try to pounce on him. (They play fight). So, I'm feeling like he's gonna be alright. (Doc said there's a 20% chance he could still die). So, come on, Oscar!

Oscar was either hit by a car or kicked really hard. He came home and went right under the sofa, panting with his tongue out. Took him to the animal hospital, x-rays showed two broken ribs and a hemorrhaged intestinal wall. Poor guy. He's home now, stitched up but not eating. I just spent $3400. The alternative was having him put down. Couldn't do it. I'm not going to let either cat outside now.
