The American Left wing has failed. Effective gun control should have been something the Dems treated as seriously as Civil Rights. But they let the right wing dictate the terms and playing catchup looks like a hopeless cause, especially now with this Supreme Court vacancy. The next 5 months will determine the next 50 years in this country.

In his second term he didn't have to play the same political game but he was still feckless and cowed on too many things and on other things just wrong. All the Dems weaknesses are starting to haunt them again. Afraid to turn the blade as always. They gifted the GOP the Gorsuch seat and now "Judge Janine" will be nominated for the new seat. Absolute pushover politics.

I had a dream last night that I was riding my bike through Harvard Yard when I saw @mjmooney holding court with a few students. I continued to ride when it began to rain, so I started singing "Rain" by the Beatles. I then found myself on a shuttle bus driving to Boston but the driver was going the wrong way. When I protested, they convinced me that they knew what they were doing. When we exited the bus, I discovered it was a ruse to give pickpockets on the bus time to steal the key to my car, so I was forced to take a city bus home. But I never made it home, I went to London where the murder trial for Jim Belushi was happening for his role in the deaths of boaters on the Thames. He was drunk boating and smashed into a bunch of people. They made a movie about it. ?
