There's a great opportunity for non-American basketball clubs to form a Champion's League style format. It would raise the profile of non-American clubs, create a storyline ands help integrate the sport on a global scale.
Nice one. Aaron Baynes is a fan favorite around these parts. Every North American pro sports league is within grasp of Aussie athletes I would think. I know there's a pretty sizable baseball and basketball scene down there.
Honestly VT is my go to site for most of the things I'm passionate about and the level of discourse here is top notch. I'm belong to Boston sports forums but they pale in comparison.
My routine here is notifications, breaking news of any category, off topic in general, and then a toss up between the main forum, other football and American sports.
Wish me luck, VT. I'm about ten days from opening my business. Cafe/beer & wine store. Got all my licenses sorted. Inventory coming next week. I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't planning things around World Cup games ?
The real smart money is on Sweden of course ?
I think Sweden will be confident for this and I think it's possible that the England players start to play under more pressure than ever. As ever, the question for England is can they handle the pressure? So far so good and I think Southgate deserves a lot of credit, but after the Colombia dramatics and subsequent media hysteria...I anticipate an excellent game.
Great **** world cup on the whole.
The prostitutes who work my street have been increasing in number with the warm weather. The most rancid junkie whores you can imagine. Caved in scowling faces, yelling at each other, leering at every passing vehicle. Gross.
Only a complete imbecile would suggest that burning fossil fuels and the mass production of grazing livestock doesn't at the very least exacerbate a naturally occurring phenomenon.
Jordan Pickford has a thick **** accent. Is that considered like a typical working class Geordie accent? Big performance from him.. There are some really humble likeable players on this England team, personified by Pickford and Dier as well. Very pleased for him.
