All these leagues across sports that do this are risking devaluing the very thing that makes them appealing to foreign fans.

My uncle in law is dying and he's visiting me on Friday to effectively say a final goodbye. He's a good guy, a US history professor and a real Eastern Pennsylvania Democrat, unapologetically proud of this country and very optimistic about America despite all of our tremendous flaws and current circumstances. Tough to see such an inquisitive mind be betrayed by his body. Sad days. But he's had a full life at 90. He loved traveling to Britain too.
