There are so many great acting performances in this show by fringe characters. One notable performance is in season 2, a Night's Watch captain who tutors Jon once he's been made a ranger while they patrol beyond the wall. Great acting.

I've yet to meet any Villans in Portland, but we've been in the C'ship since I've been up here, so we'll see who comes out of the woodwork now. Can't be many.

In Boston, unofficially maybe 30 and it's not particularly well run. No idea about Minn, but I'm guessing it's not a lot.

Tonight it was local farm pork tenderloin fried in a pan with salt and pepper. Scraped up the pan bits with a dousing of red wine, promptly poured over the sliced pork. Side of mushrooms and spinach sauteed with garlic and chili flakes. Washedn down with a glass (or two) of a 2014 Barbaresco, "Riva Leone". Nice mild red.

/jealous Boston has most likely been written off by every club but Liverpool making most other locales as prohibitive as flying to Brum (for me) Not sure what the local Villa support is, but I hope they appreciate it.

Nice one! Softball is great fun and obviously a way for former hardballers to keep at it or newbies to learn the basics. Or Brits who fundamentally get it due to the Rounders thing. I'll bookmark this thread.
