I like Gabbard. She's poised, pleasant, smart and seems to actually give a shit about the country. But she is a long shot. The 4 that will have a chance are Sanders, Warren, Harris and Biden, the latter two pretty awful candidates. A Sanders-Gabbard ticket would do the trick nicely for me.

Workplace hijinks. Chopping onions and almost chopped off the the end of my thumb. pretty ugly cut. drove to the hospital down the street. blood on the dashboard. Stopped for a shot of tequila first though! They stitched it back together and now i'll have more hospital debt. USA! USA!

I opened The Cider House on Saturday, and I've hung my Villa scarf directly behind the bar. We are New England's first unofficial Aston Villa bar! I'm going to promote "Premier League Saturdays" and put the volume up for every 12:30 EST kickoff, and that will include Villa-Spurs this weekend!

So I just spent the last hour and a half standing on the busiest street corner in my city holding a placard that read "Gun Control Now!" Most people tapped their car horn in approval, but I had one guy in a big Ford F-350 give me the finger and yell "**** you!" A guy on a motorcycle gave me the finger and a guy in a sedan made a shooting gesture at me. Oh yeah, and a ten year old kid shook his head and said "No". Even in a liberal city in a liberal region there are plenty of right wing gun nuts all around here.
