Yes, he collects a paycheck from NBC News, I get it. But he also offers free civics lessons to anyone watching, which is a good thing in this country. Most Americans aren't taught much of it in public school.

This level of incompetence from a multibillion dollar sports league is astounding, frankly. VAR is a big wet fart on the face of fans of the league the world over, let alone aggrieved teams that have been victimized by it. Has nobody been fired yet? Fans should consider a league wide walkout.

Auto racing should be done with electric vehicles. I know it's blasphemy, but watching cars spit out out earth killing fumes for three hours going in circles around a track seems really stupid.

So low lying, densely populated areas are going to get wiped off the map by 2050, just 30 years from now. Projections show Mumbai being underwater at high tide, as well as Bangladesh, and the entire south coast of Vietnam. Not to mention all the little island nations in the Indian and Pacific oceans. The last 30 years have seen massive migrations of people into those cities like Mumbai, and now they'll have to flee back. This has refugee crisis written all over it and there will be wars fought over access to clean water. Happy days ahead, eh?

Disturbing to hear that the ship that was finally allowed to dock in Cambodia was cleared to release all it's passengers and one of them tested positive at the airport. 1,000 passengers disembarked and travelled to every continent.

Both. It's def a product of it's time. It might help to smoke some marijuana before you watch. The deliberate pace was intentional. Heavy on atmosphere and dread with sprinkles of oddball humor. We'd have watching parties for each new episode. Good memories. Seems like a lifetime ago.
