The stress of this lockdown is taking a toll on people. Some guy bought a cannister of gasoline at the gas station down the street and proceeded to douse himself and set himself on fire. People smothered him and saved him but he has serious burns.

MAGA states are starting to get hit hard by Covid, just as their governors loosen restrictions on businesses and public gatherings. I feel really bad for all the people who are forced back to work in areas that are bathing in virus. Front line industries have employees who are expendable, apparently. But we knew that already. What a mess.

Dunkirk and 1917 are two of the best war movies I've seen, and my standards are high, I walked out of Saving Private Ryan after all!

I've got a few ingredients in the fridge that are close to the edge, so I've made myself a little early morning brew- Fresh ginger root Halved clove of garlic Sliver of Habanero pepper Squeeze of lemon juice Teaspoon of turmeric 2 teaspoons honey Half teaspoon of fresh cracked black peppercorn 2 cups boiling water This will be delicious or totally undrinkable...hang on..... Well, I was wrong, it's somewhere in between. The turmeric is really strange on it's own without the other curry spices. The ginger and honey are really nice though. Altogether sort of musky. People say the health benefits of turmeric are activated by cracked black peppercorn. And the other elements are all good for you. Except for the honey maybe. But without the honey, it would be a bit difficult to finish.

Great actor. Have you ever seen "Box of Moonlight"? It's with Rockwell and John Turturro, two of my favorite actors, and the movie is sort of nerdy subversive magical realism. Or at least that's how I remember it, it's pretty old now.

Today was the first time I've felt despair about this calamity. Actual despair. The USA is so **** up and it's like we're watching it all come crashing down in slow motion as we enter into a dystopian nightmare state. Half the country believe our top scientists are collaborating on a diabolical scheme with Bill Gates and George Soros to rob them of their "liberty". It's unbelievable. If Trump wins in November, it's over. I'll be looking to move to another country. Let me know if any of you guys has an attic with a cot.
