I agree, but if we end up finishing 10th or even 12th, I think most people would've taken that. For me, even though I think we could do something special if we brought in another 2-3 players, finishing anywhere above 10th place this season will be a massive success for the club.
I think it's a decidedly small minority of posters on here that are unfair in their player criticism. Most of us seem to point out perceived flaws in individual performances without venom or personal attacks. No idea what goes on on Twitter and I don't want to know. If I were Christian Purslow, I'd tell my players they can post once on gamedays, and after that, shut your damn phone off.
Slowed the attack down a couple of times again tonight when the forward pass was there. There's a time for the "come and get it" thing he does, but also a time for a flick to an open player making a forward run.
This was my fear when we signed him.
He's got silky skills, but does he fit in with Smith's philosophy? I'd like to know the backstory to the signing (Did Lange push for it over objections, etc.)
I agree. But he sure has a howler in him. I worry about it costing us again, and what it might do to his confidence. John Terry needs to get his hooks into Tyrone in training.
