it's hot in Maine today and it's only 7:25 AM. Really hot in Seattle though. My cousin has lived there for 30 years and he's driving to Maine next week. I bet he decides to move back east. **** sad, because the Pacific NW was always very temperate.

For a while there, Southampton looked to be a model for smaller, established PL clubs. Strong academy, good scouting, good coaching, selling for profit. Sad that they are slipping back down.

If you had told me last August that a year later we'd be selling AEG to Roma, I'd have laughed. This would be great business even though I'd be sad to see him go, he's been a player I really liked to support and was thrilled whenever he did well.

I agree with this. It seemed like an extravagant signing when announced, and I suppose it is, really. We now have an embarrassment of attacking options and it suggests that we are going to go for the jugular every match. This will stress our DM's so hopefully we strengthen there before the end of the month.

Smith and Lange might feel that Ollie's finishing wasn't good enough. As good a season as he had, his one flaw was he missed a few too many chances. Ings doesn't miss. (as much). I hope this doesn't unsettle Ollie.

How totally boring that Messi signs with PSG. He could've signed with a club like Sampdoria or Hamburg or Celta Vigo or Aston Villa. A club with aspirations but not elite. Like how Maradona signed with Napoli.
