Its not like playing for the USMNT where nobody really cares. I don't begrudge either Emi the opportunity to represent Argentina.

I thought the second half yesterday sounded pretty good. But I did notice at one point in the first half when it was 1-1 and should've been raucous, you could hear a pin drop. When Villa seduced me in the mid 90's, a big part of it was how VP sounded to me watching on TV. Deafening. I think as the season progresses and the intrigue heats up we will hear some good old fashioned Villa Park decibels.

I've watched a few of his vids. Very slickly produced, and his voice has the timbre of a professional voiceover actor or radio disc jockey. There is something really weird about listening to a guy with a North American accent with that depth of Villa knowledge and enthusiasm. But it's all almost a little too slick, if you know what I mean? There are a lot of options these days for Villa content so my holy trinity as it were are VillaTalk, MOMS and Claret & Blue podcast.

I thought the game was crying out for Jacob Ramsey to link the play up the middle of the pitch. Strange game. Mid table level stuff. We need a fully fit side to make any headway. Concerning injury to Konsa, let's hope it's just a knock. Great take and turn and goal by Buendia. Solid debut from Carney. Great to see Ollie back. We'll take the point, but it's 2 points dropped, IMO. At home against a promoted side. Gotta win these. Good time for a break.

I would love it if they brought Wenger back. It's already shaping up to be an absolutely fascinating season. Wenger would add yet another interesting wrinkle.

If they were smart they'd use the upcoming break to bring in a new manager. But I think they always knew they wouldn't get a result today and will give Arteta one more game to turn it around.

Adidas have made some excellent kits for Arsenal lately, IMO.

A negative outlay for this window is completely unacceptable, IMO. Owners have hardly put a foot wrong so far, let's hope they continue to invest in the project. We need a dominating ball winning DM and a left winger who can challenge for the starting job.
