It looks pretty dire. Like even if they stay up,, they are bad enough to get relegated next year. Worrying times for them. The new stadium will be a noose around their neck if they go down.

Its really dangerous. Football is arguably the country's biggest cultural export. It is almost criminally neglected. These clubs are civic and national institutions that need protecting, now more than ever.

I'm thinking more about clashes with the Weinsteins and the decisions to drop key plot elements and characters. Or anything else, really. Disputes with actors, replacing the original Aragorn 3 weeks into the shoot, location problems, whatever.

That OTT laugh in Keane's face was pretty obnoxious. I find Micah's analysis to be not particularly illuminating and his histrionics off putting. I'd take a grumpy Souness with better insight every time.

I listen to a Villa podcast where the guy always sounds like he wants to be doing anything but. He even at times says he'd rather not talk about Villa. Weird.

Their habit of appointing interim managers just wastes time. Find a good candidate and hire him as permanent boss. The players won't fight for an interim. They need a full clear out.

I just binged TLOTR trilogy. Seen it all before. Enjoyed this round. I'd love to watch a documentary on how they did it. Great achievement in cinema history. And the balls to make all three at once.. Great acting performances, throughout. Hard to think of a single bad performance. I wonder where they went on that boat at the end?

Disturbing scenes yesterday in Guadalajara. (Atlas). Fan brawls spilling onto the pitch, one guy stripped naked and bloody, 2 in critical condition.

A friend of mines mother was ina car crash last week. She was flown by helicopter from the scene to hospital where she died. She was 60 and primary caretaker for his disabled brother.Just total devastation for the family, all in an instant. I'm more or less a city guy and moving to Maine has been an adjustment, particularly with having to drive everywhere to do just about anything. Totally car dependent. Massachusetts drivers have a bad reputation, but we are just aggressive. Which means we are alert. Maine drivers are passive and I find it a very dangerous way of driving. Accidents all over the place here.

I wouldn't knock microdosing just yet. If it can clear the thick fog of depression for people, even for a few weeks, it can only be a good thing. People need relief.

There's a lot of data that links a host of mental health problems in young people, particularly girls, to social media, specifically Instagram. The stuff is poison and a minefield for parents.
