Annoyingly, it looks like it's restricted to Premier League era only, which is pretty stupid actually. It should be an English Football HOF for all time.
I like that they're doing this. It's a fun way to honor former greats and reminisce about bygone years.
In the States we also induct coaches and announcers and there's a ceremony and speeches. A good day out for family and friends and a formal way for inductees to say their piece.
No Villans in there yet. Who would our first inductee be? Sadly, probably no Villa player in the PL era makes the cut.
I've always stuck up for the underdog. I was never bullied. But my first year in junior high I was a dick to a few kids a few times because I probably felt threatened by them somehow. Pure jungle instinct stuff. Acting tough to try to establish dominance, I suppose. It was just that one year. I'm still ashamed about it all these years later.
Good post, @Delphinho123.
The summer window and the Gerrard appointment make me question Purslow's judgement. I know he's impressive in other important ways, but while the jury may still be out on the manager, the window was almost a complete farce, and that is very worrying indeed.
I just don't think we're good enough to win this. There's a malaise at Villa. We are Man Utd-lite. Several players who have one foot out the door. Little to play for. Disjointed, losing performances. Wish we could just fast forward the season.
Recently watched two Mexican Netflix offerings.
"I'm No Longer Here", a unique movie centered in Monterrey Cumbia culture and one kid's brush with gangs, a fictional movie. A bit art housy which I like.
Then a gripping documentary "1994", about the tumultuous year in politics there, including the Chiapas uprising, the candidate Colosio assassination and the election. Brilliant documentary.
Watched the first 2 episodes of Outer Range. Really nice to look at, good acting and the story is doing just enough to make me want to watch episode 3. I'm just annoyed that the whole thing hinges on
Which I generally don't like.
Tried to watch Anatomy of a Scandal but the pacing of it is dragging it down.
Sienna Miller got old all of a sudden. Still gorgeous, but looks like she's in her mid 40s.
