Classic choke job! Pep brings on Grealish to protect the lead and they promptly concede 3 goals Guardiola cannot get out of his own way in the big pressure moments. Really pleased with this outcome. A Champions League final sucks when it's two teams from the same country. Should be a tasty final.

Yep. But the US is already an odd map with Alaska and Hawaii and the other little colony states. Internet and flight make that fractured map less of a problem. I could also envision a union with Canada which would link the coasts.

Their priorities are deregulating guns, fossil fuel extraction, book banning, abortion outlawing, civil rights restrictions, prison and police expansion, exorbitant military spending, Healthcare denial, elimination of social security, the dismantling of public education and the postal service, building a giant wall, and rigging elections. We want the exact opposite of that.

Yep, they'd have to carve out a provision. Basically change the framework which would be really hard to do constitutionally. But where there's a will there's a way, especially if both sides want it.

They'll ban same sex marriage next, and then just criminalize LGBTQ entirely. This is the trajectory. These far right rulings might just be the impetus for blue states to eventually secede, and that's not hyperbole. The fascism coming out of Florida and Texas is a harbinger. And as long as they keep trying to steal elections, there will be nothing we can do about it but secede.

Alex Ferguson didn't spend much time at their facility during the week. He let McLaren and Kidd and them run the show. He was more of an overseer who would pick the team and rally them on match days. And obviously be in total control during the games. Gerrard has charisma and that's a big part of what a manager needs. We'll see how far it takes him.
