"Negrito" is the diminutive/familiar/affectionate of "Negro" (black) in Spanish and used commonly throughout Spanish speaking Latin America. I personally think it is a term that needs retiring for all the obvious uncomfortable reasons. But I don't think it was used maliciously by Suarez.

If I were a player I think I'd rather fight to achieve Champions League football with an aspiring side like Villa than just piggyback on the achievement of a group of players you had no involvement with.

Read somewhere on Le Twit that owners are funding 126m in xfer spending this summer...not sure if they meant in addition to the 38m already spent or not. But either way it suggests we'll see a few more huge signings.
