If we're sputtering around 13th place in January and doing the same stupid shit over and over again, I hope the brass are ruthless and cut him loose. Get Pochettino in and kick on.
That said, Gerrard has my total support. For now.
It's not as far fetched as you might think.
Ferguson barely interacted with his players during the week and let his coaches run the show. It was only on match days that he got stuck in with the players.
Those strikers are locked in starters for elite teams. Maybe a slight risk because 2 are new to the league but it's a risk I'm at ease with.
The players on the bench are there due to week 1 matchups. Not sure why their price has anything to do with it. I picked players who I think will get regular starting minutes.
Odegaard and Bailey might not achieve those minutes, but they didn't cost a lot.
My keepers are good and my defenders will all get starters minutes for top 10 sides.
Is there an obvious strategy to this that I'm unaware of?
I for one hope that Forest stay up and re-establish themselves as a Premier League side. Doubt they pose too much of a threat to us this season though. They will do well to finish 17th.
He's hit a plateau. Fine player, good character. Has been a brilliant signing for us but he is handcuffing our progression, and the manager is not helping matters by according him special status. We should sell this summer while his value is high.
