Really disappointing move for all the obvious reasons. I like to think that the club is more socially conscious than this, but I'm only fooling myself thinking that. We are just like the rest of the clubs that prostrate themselves to whatever dodgy firm waves the biggest stack of cash at them. Hopefully Purslow gets an earful at the next fan consult.

It feels like all the concerns we had upon his appointment have been more or less validated. After all we've been through over the last 10 years, we can suss out bullshit. And it feels like Gerrard is bullshit. I really hope I'm wrong and I'll happily eat crow pie everyday for breakfast. But it all seems totally askew and Gerrard leaves me cold.

It's really annoying. I like McGinn for all the obvious reasons, but he should have been a top candidate to sell this window, not made bloody captain and locked in starter. It's a move that is symbolic of our floundering when we should be progressing with a head of steam. It really is doing my head in!

Maybe even higher than that, I'm not entirely sure on their highest league position, but it was a great position for Brighton. When he wasn't able to get them to maintain a Leicester style run at the league, a noticeable segment of their supporters were very vocal against him.
