Was thinking just this earlier today. Hard to believe but also somehow typical. As recently as kickoff v Bournemouth I was walking on clouds. Dream deferred yet again. Back to gloom and dread.

I have a tin of quality Habanero powder. I was a bit too liberal with it on some rice dish I made. I paid a price. Habanero is as hot as I go, typically. It's got great flavor and heat.

I fell asleep watching episode 2, which is never a good sign. What I watched was pretty boring, and the most potentially exciting scene was basically I really hope the rest of the episode improves.

Throwing the players under the bus again. Yesterday the players played alright. The loss was squarely on Gerrard. I almost hope we lose 8-0 on Wednesday just to get him out ASAP.

Maybe even with a better manager our players just aren't good enough. Maybe we are just at a lower mid table level and we've fooled ourselves into thinking we're close to being a Europe contender.
