I'll be happy with slow and steady with a decent standard of play. Cohesion. Application. Better fitness. Stronger mentality. Maybe an exciting January transfer or two. If we finished 10th or higher it will have been a good season under the circumstances.

I knew you'd come back with Moore, @rjw63 I was reluctant because he's probably going g to keep posting good numbers and I only want Cousins for this weekend and backup ROS. The waiver QBs are horrifying. If Prescott gets hurt and I didn't have Cousins, my season will be over.

But generally, Phil seems disinterested. As if he's just going through the motions. Playing football because that's what he is supposed to do, but not because he wants to. He doesn't seem to take any pleasure in it. There's no demonstrable joy or intensity in his body language and actual game play. He seems checked out, completely. Hopefully Emery can rekindle the fire. If not, we are set to take a massive loss on Phil. We are already taking a loss in terms of output on the pitch.

They started together at the Etihad last May and we pasted them in the first half. Total collapse in the second half, but Buendia and Coutinho were rampant for 45 minutes.

I'm still rooting for him though. I cheered when they scored the winner. As an American, I want him to do well and not totally embarrass us.

Klopp came over to shake his hand and Marsch was really aloof and not particularly pleasant when they shook hands. He comes off as a petulant boy scout. He redeems himself somewhat in interviews and pressers, but his touch line demeanor really winds me up.

Liverpool out of the title race and it's still just October. The Salah deal is looking like our Coutinho deal. They have a rebuild ahead of them. Newcastle, Tottenham and Arsenal all surpassing them now. I can see Klopp moving on.

Marsch is really annoying. But his players seem to love him. Huge win for Leeds. And not good for Villa.
