They are mainstreaming the idea that killing LGBTQ people is morally sound. I really fear for the worst, and I'm someone who can pass as a MAGA type. I feel awful for outwardly queer people here who are seemingly at greater risk of victimization than ever before. We are going backwards.

I've been impressed with Tim Ream, he reads the game well and never seems too bothered by anything. Dest is a very interesting player. Just needs a bit more seasoning. The skill and pace of these young players is at a whole new level for USA. The future is bright, no matter what happens in Qatar.

Strong USA performance on the whole. Positive, energetic, sound defensively. Some slick passing and a bit of flare doesn't hurt either. But we have little end product and it's a problem. We have outplayed both British sides but only have 2 pts. We need to beat Iran. But still undefeated vs England in part due to Southgate's baffling reluctance to just go for it.

I think USA has played really well so far. Really nice progressive passing, just no end product which was always going to be a problem.
