He wants to be a human highlight reel, which is why he was sobbing on the ground after his miss.
He needs to keep his head up (literally) and look for the open man instead of trying the unlikely nutmeg or whatever.
Hard to say if he was actually crying. What I saw was him lying face down, heaving his chest up and down rather performatively. A bit much IMO.
He made a mess of that moment which will haunt him. And had a poor game generally. And has been an underwhelming signing on the whole.
Not sure he is that much of an upgrade on Traore, who at least scored goals.
I want to have a go at Bailey for missing that sitter but we didn't deserve 3 points from that. 1-1 is about right.
I hope we get 2-3 improvements in because some of our regulars just aren't the answer.
Embarrassing that fans would boo in the numbers they just did. We've been outplayed but are only losing by a world class goal.
The team look a bit stuck in the mud and need support, not a shower of boos.
Unreal.
Was just listening to an American sports journalist who said he doesn't like soccer because "it's not violent enough and there aren't enough timeouts for commercials"
Juventus is the most well known and followed Italian club in the USA. Italian-Americans in the northeast comprise the bulk of the support. It's conceivable that they are wanting to use WM as a marketing vehicle. Juve market themselves more aggressively than any of the others.
But if he wasn't actually good, he'd not feature so prominently.
I'd rather have Kamara myself. He's the more polished player and better defensively, which is why he's here.
