He got in a good position to shoot from just outside the box and put it well over the bar and he laughed. I think he's not mentally locked in and I don't see a future here for him.as a starter. Can see him being sold this summer. In fact I expect him to push for it.

Ultimately, we are just a complete **** joke of a team with sh*tty, lazy players collecting way more money than they should be. They have a weak mentality and they think too highly of themselves. Even Emery appears to have overestimated our quality and depth. Hopefully he can convince NSWE that we need a total overhaul between now and September. I want most of these players gone by then.

Defenders can play into their late 30s, so his age doesn't bother me. There's some quality there, anyone suggesting otherwise is wrong. He's got a clanger in him, but maybe outside the glaring lights and circus of Manchester United, he'd clean up those mental errors. The only thing concerning me is wages and even though he's a decent player, I'm hoping we sign someone a little younger and better than Maguire, with better sell-on value.
