I don't understand accepting a bottom half finish if we win a cup. Yes, it'd be a back door into Europe, but it'd be a disturbing failure to build on our momentum in the league.

we will need to maintain consistency and take maximum points vs the sides we should be beating on paper. that means being mentally tough, protecting leads, responding after conceding, being disciplined. we will also need to take points from our direct rivals. it will be fascinating.

Next season Spurs and Chelsea will still sputter, so we should approach them with the belief that we can beat them and finish above them, at least next season. It really annoys me that Man Utd beat us last time because we can compete with them and can take points off them. We recently dismantled Newcastle, so why should we not aim for 4th place? I'll need to see what our team looks like in August before I make a prediction, but even without incoming players, we can go toe to toe with every side in the division.

If he still craves a real challenge and wants to compete at the highest level in the best league, he should sign with a Prem club. He doesn't need more money. It should be about the experience. Brentford need a forward with Toney suspended. He could rent a luxury West London condo or just live in a swanky hotel for a year getting paid a modest wage

The thing that really stood out for me this season about Tyrone's game is his notably improved footwork and mobility. His height and long legs were an occasional hindrance to his mobility in past seasons, but he's much more nimble now and his positioning, ball carrying and passing have all improved, and he's much more assured and confident now.

I'm hoping sports medicine has advanced since the Bouma and Owen days, and that Moreno comes back "even stronger" as he's predicted. I say give him all the time needed and even more, Digne is perfectly acceptable until Alex is ready. Just hope Digne doesn't get hurt too!

There's so much ingrained shame. It's why I have huge respect for Graham Norton, who has been openly, publicly, and unapologetically gay for years, and he comes from Ireland, which was much different in the 80's and 90's in terms of how LGBTQ people lived their lives there.

The hard reality of the world is that adults prey on children. If my kid was a loner, I'd probably be doubly vigilant about adults showing interest. I'd want to know who the person is , how my kid knows them, what is the stated reason for wanting to spend time together, etc. If there's no clear purpose to the relationship, (mentor/coach/teacher), I'd discourage it, but more likely, not allow it all all, especially if it is a man, and unknown to me.

If my 14 year old son or daughter had a male "friend" who was 40, I'd have some serious questions to be answered. That said, as far as Schofield is concerned, if nothing sexual happened until the boy became a young man, it should be a private matter, and everyone involved should be left alone.

Yeah, he's the only one with the balls to do it. He could be a useful guy for the Dems in that respect. Won't get the nomination but could make a show of landing punches on Trump.

I'd like to see a Liz Cheney/Adam Kinzinger third party ticket to siphon off votes from Trump or whoever the Republican nominee is. It's hard to believe that we are about to do Trump v Biden all over again. I just want to pretend this isn't happening.
