I agree, but remakes of old movies tend to update the content to appeal to a modern audience, and with a word like "Nigger" remaining in the script in that context, nobody would put one dollar up to make that movie.

Petrov plays like he's running on a pitch made of peanut butter...he's been past it for the last two years, IMO. The "Goalscoring Midfielder" that he was billed as never really showed up at Villa, did he? Plenty of effort, yes, the occasional great game, and a top guy, good demeanor, etc...but he never quite lived up to expectations. I'd keep him on the bench and use him as defensive cover to protect leads at the end of games...then say goodbye next June.

For every good thing he's done (Acorns, Bodymoor Heath, Holte Hotel, initial willingness to spend, etc.), there has been a corresponding bad thing (Letting O'Neill go hog wild with his money, allowing the situation to develop where MON left the way he did, hiring GH, PAYING to hire AM, and turning the board's image as media savvy, fan friendly, communicative and accessible on its head). The owner must be accountable, and right now, Lerner is invisible. We deserve to hear what his plans are, what the financial status of the club is, and we need to hear it from him alone. Fans don't know what is going on, and it's frustrating. He needs to show a bit of leadership.
