If Ireland were anyone else, they'd be getting slagged off after his performance last night, but because he's been SO awful, people are praising him for what was a pretty mediocre game, but an improvement for him... He had the ball at his feet 6 yards from goal with nobody near him, and he couldn't even control it, let alone get a shot off.

Guzan had a sound game in goal, Hutton played fairly well until his implosion, Cuellar didn't have a whole lot to do, Warnock was poor.

Pretty good first half, to be fair. Walcott's move was very nice, but why grab his shirt and give away the penalty? Zog has looked good apart from some of his final balls into the box (or not) Good possession and composure against a quality side. I predicted 1-1, and it's still doable. If the Fonz is on the bench, I'd like to see him upfront with Gabby second half.
