  1. Good news- looks like they all got spooked by the uproar- the vote on both bills has been cancelled and "delayed indefinitely"...
  2. No, that prize goes to the "How Do You Wipe Yer Arse?" thread
  3. A true legend who mastered different music styles and was as big an influence on younger singers over the years as anyone. A sad loss. R.I.P.
  4. They'll be smelling blood, but they aren't good enough to break down McGash's Claret and Blue Wall... 0-0 And Robbie Keane pulls a hamstring
  5. Two republican senators just flipped their position on the bill, including it's co-author....seems like the backlash has begun. Once people become informed, that's when politicians fear for their jobs...
  6. Home of the Free, you know...
  7. I'd say he was the most famous person worldwide back then, not just the western world. He was a superstar in Africa and Asia as well.
  8. A skillfully crafted scheme by PF to distract supporters from the serious issues on the pitch....
  9. Otis Redding is very overrated in my opinion.
  10. Italian football. When Ambien won't do. :winkold:
  11. Diane Lane gets BETTER with age, in my opinion. Yum.
  12. New England 28, Baltimore 17 NYG 27, San Fran 24
  13. Hes not that young though is he ? 22 thereabouts ? If he were 17 fair enough - but at 22 - I am not expecting a massive up turn in form. Don't get me wrong he will probably have the odd good game - but at this level its what you do week in week out that counts And that's the thing- he's not given a chance week in week out. And BTW, how many 17 year olds are playing in the Premier League? 22 is still young.
  14. He's still young, and with more playing time, I think he'll only improve. He's a talented player. I don't think he'll be donning an England shirt anytime soon, but he's a player I'd like Villa to hold onto.
  15. I love watching Whinger's face contort in anguish when Arsenal lose. Of course, when they lose, it's the referee's fault....Well done to Swansea.
  16. These players get shit financial advice, and end up buying multiple homes and 3 luxury cars, holidays overseas 3 times a year, invest in restaurants and other risky schemes....and then they wonder where it all went. Financial ruin will drive a lot of people to the edge. I'm glad he came to his senses and is asking for help. Maybe Hull or Bradford can give him some kind of position at their clubs...
  17. Perfect result for the board, then. Another point. Well done. Surely we won't finish lower than 17th place.
  18. Yep, sadly this is tread water time for Villa. We ain't gonna challenge for any European competition, unless the players play out of their heads in the Cup and win the **** thing. But would you place a bet on that happening? The only drama we're going to see this season and for the forseeable future is whether or not we stay up. Thing is, we're probably just good enough so that relegation will never really make us sweat. So we'll be mired in the purgatory of 9th-15th place, playing negative football and watching empty seats multiply by the month.
