We may have enough but they aren't of enough quality in my opinion.. we certainly need 2-3 more quality CM's (not just someone of OK quality) Agreed. Take out Vlaar and Clark and we're only left with Baker, Collins and Dunne. Baker is a good prospect but still very young and Collins and Dunne are shit. All signs point to Dunne staying...I think we'll sign a LB and a striker and call it a day. -
Chicken or egg? I can't believe that developing the stadium before the team and results improve would attract bigger crowds and better players, it's the other way round. 1) Better players 2) Better results 3) Bigger crowds 4) Improve stadium 5) Go to (1) Agreed. I can't imagine an expanded Villa Park filled to capacity last season. Quite the opposite actually. We'd have seen more empty seats, that's all.

Maq you seem confident but surely not able to GUARANTEE anything...... he has an ex-wife to sort out financially - remember? Ex-wife gets a few hundred million bucks. That leaves a few hundred million for Randy. We don't know about any potential prenuptial agreement...she could be looking at a much smaller figure than a few hundred mill.....

Interesting that Vlaar said Villa "Apologised for the way they acted".... The boy seems to carry a chip on his shoulder...let's hope he has one on the pitch, we need some steel in the side.

I always got the impression that he was more passionate about Villa...He will come into a windfall in October, and I guarantee a big name signing in January and considerable investment next summer. Why? Because he'll be flush with cash, and not hindered by ridiculous wages anymore. I think most Villa fans were uneasy with his dual sports ventures, and his regular stays back in the States. Now that will no longer be a bother. Like someone said earlier, now we'll finally be getting the owner we thought we were getting. This is HUGE news, and it is GREAT news! UTV!!!!
