He came into 1 billion according to reports, i'd rather him spend some money on class infrastructure to be honest, although 1 marquee signing would be widely appreciated!
Yep, 1 Billion in all the papers in the States
There's no way we don't see some of that!
Yep, clearly a season to rebuild and repair, but doing so while playing a better brand of football brings a smile to my face. And who knows, we might be able to cause a little havoc along the way...
A tidy little tour of the USA, Vlaar finally signing, Lerner selling the Browns, Collins gone...I'm feeling very good about things right now, despite the injuries to Dunne and Gabby. Hopefully it's just a knock with Gabby. And maybe we'll sign another CB now that Dunne will be sidelined for 2 months...who knows, could be a blessing in disguise.
Waiting on a few more signings. Hopefully we can get them wrapped up sooner rather than later.
Can't wait for West Ham!
UTV
I'd have Dempsey, but unsure on the reliability of this.
But would he have Villa?
I think he'd be a great signing, but just don't see it happening. He'd demand top dollar as well.
YESSSS!!!
Finally someone seen this movie!! Absolutely incredible!!! Have you seen them both?? I prefered the second to the 1st.
No, I didn't know there was a first, I'll have to watch it, what's the title?
Daniel Craig just doesn't do much for me. I know he's supposed to be more like how the true Bond character was written, but he's just so dull.
I'd have preferred Rufus Sewell, a much more interesting actor.
The Mitt Romney Comedy Tour continues, now in Israel, where he explained the difference in Israel and Palestine's GDP being "cultural", implying Israel is an inherently superior culture...and ignoring the fact that Palestine is a militarily occupied territory....he was promptly rebuked by the Palestinians, who are calling Romney's statement "racist"....
Such a bumbling fool...the Obama camp is loving this
Isn't anyone who is found guilty 'clearly guilty'?
No...you could have a crime that is caught on videotape (clearly guilty)...or a crime brought to trial where a jury deliberates evidence and arguments and brings in a guilty verdict... biased juries have put innocent men in prison for years in this country, and will continue to.
It's a good point, Coda. And it's something that his lawyers will hammer away at.
You could argue that anyone who would pull a stunt like that is insane....and if insanity is the key to NOT being executed, the law cannot be considered much of a deterrent. Not that it ever really was, anyway.
I personally think his courtroom antics were staged....I think he's quite sane, just a homicidal maniac.
I agree, for the clearly guilty, if they commit the crime in a death penalty state, then justice should be carried out swiftly. But the system allows for appeals and dragging of feet...it's a joke, really. Almost defeats the purpose of having a death penalty.
It's the best prison time to do (until you're executed). If you're notorious, you get protection from other inmates, your own cell, cable TV, magazines, 3 meals a day..and with appeals and red tape, you can while away a 3rd of your life in relative comfort.
