  1. You must have the agreement in written form?
  2. It's typically YouTube videos, as those are the ones I watch most...but also imbedded videos.... It's a Mac
  3. Buy a cold turkey, much cheaper
  4. For the last several weeks, video playback on my computer has been laggy...the picture will freeze for two or three seconds while the audio continues, then the video will catch back up. The audio gets "crackly" too when this happens... I downloaded the latest Flashplayer, ran anti-virus, cleared out cookies, emptied trash...still the problem exists. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks
  5. Do you ever feel like the summer tends to just escape your grasp?
  6. If the answer is "Cockrobin", what is the question? "What's that in my bum, Batman?"
  7. But bum means tramp over there! But tramp means slag... And fag means gay over here...
  8. I quite like hearing a bird getting shafted and enjoying it, been there before and even though it was sometimes 3am I still got a raging hardon which I put to good use on the then-wife ;-) I lived next to an absolute screamer for 3 years, it was very funny, actually. She loved it, and I think she got turned on by letting the whole neighborhood know
  9. I hear there are 50 year old Dutch people in Ibiza still rolling on E and sleeping on the beach....they're like those Japanese soldiers found in the South Pacific 20 years after the war, dug in, thinking it was still on...
  10. I just showered, shaved and rode off to work, only to find that when I got there, the other bartender was working (we'd swapped shifts this week about 2 months ago, and I forgot).... Actually, maybe this should be in the Things That Make You Happy thread, I've got the night off!
  11. A gossipy old shrew who took pleasure in pitting people against each other has taken another job elsewhere, thank f*ck.
  12. I think Roger Federer threw his match against Murray
  13. They're Americans, they don't repress their emotions :winkold:

    Hobbies

I love the feeling of freedom I get from riding my bicycle, it's been a constant pursuit over the years...I got pretty good at shooting pool a while back, but if you don't keep at it, you lose the edge...I'm probably terrible now. Thinking about picking up the guitar again...
  15. It's not often people get to experience the joy of jumping up and down, hugging each other and screaming at the top of their lungs...sports fans are really the only sector of society who get to do that...I'll give these nerds a pass on this one....
  16. Cute. Scroll back and read the very first few words I said on the matter... I've not maligned the significance of the achievements of the space program or NASA and many of the things they do...I'm just skeptical of risky and expensive endeavors...and what exactly they think their camera will find on this particular endeavor, and how it will benefit us...that is, of course, if it doesn't get smashed into a thousand pieces first...
  17. But you have to invest in scientific discovery. If we hadn't done that then we would all be still living on farms and dying of dysentery aged 40. You certainly wouldnt be able to leave a message of complaint on the internet about how the money should have been spent on hospitals instead because the computer you are using and the world wide web this site sits on wouldnt have been invented yet if no money was ever given to the sciences. I appreciate your point, but just this year, the US Census Bureau released figures that put the "At or below poverty rate" in the US at 50%. That's a shitload of people who if they're lucky enough to even have a paycheck, see 30% of it swiped away and thrown at projec ts like this Mars computer drop. Well then drop your military funding then as it is far less importantant than the NASA funding. Yes, the Military-Industrial Complex is an even more infuriating money vacuum.

  19. Actually, a good idea might be to name this section "Other Sports", and have Cricket, NFL, Rubgy, Baseball, etc. all under one roof...
  20. I think he's running the show in the American Villans forum
  21. It's truly awesome stuff, and I can't help but root for them, but the billions of dollars spent on getting a probe up there to search for puddles of water should be spent on housing, schools, and food for the hungry here on Earth, in my opinion.
