Lerner is going to have to spend big again this January...he'll have to break his own rule by paying someone (or two) big wages in a roll of the dice to keep us up... If I was Lerner and saw the guy I spent 24m on sitting on the bench for the 3rd straight game, I'd want answers. Lerner is not without blame, but he did go sign the manager most supporters were clamoring for, and he did give him 20m to spend. We needed 2 CB's, a DMF and a striker, and Lambert went out and got them.

I never really thought we'd go down last year...but now, now that we have this brilliant young manager and his hotshot signings...and we are still playing hoofball and getting outplayed by crap teams at home....I'm starting to think relegation is possible. That's a move to be made 25 minutes later. Holman-Delph-KEA-Albrighton has got to be the most lightweight midfield in all of top flight football. I'm afraid KEA is not good enough, and Delph seems to always run sideways. The most disturbing thing is we came out and just started hoofing it... I'm becoming disillusioned with Lambert..this has been a horror month for Villa.
