It also helps to have your best proven goalscorer START. This is my one real point of contention with Lambert, he needs to sort this Bent thing out now.

I agree, many of the things PL has implemented are things people have been crying out for for years. A true rebuilding, not the false ones under MON and AM. The only problem is, the margin for failure is narrow, and a rebuilding project like this one runs a heavy risk of imploding if relegation becomes inevitable. Then the rebuilding is all for naught, obviously. You can win with kids, I just hope those wins start coming soon...

Good post, the key point is adding players, and maybe even starting our best player! The Bent situation is a joke, frankly. This is no time to be power tripping and playing mind games with established stars who when in form, can singlehandedly save a team (2010). Bent hasn't been given the chance to really get started this year, it's a farce, and the biggest mark on Lambert so far.

Based on Mata's facial response, it couldn't have been a racial slur against him... To me, this stinks of Chelsea trying to get one over on the FA, and it's totally irresponsible. I hope they are found to be lying, and punished severely for it. -

When all is said and done, it will have been very destructive. At least 80 dead in the U.S., over 110 houses in one neighborhood destroyed by fire, massive flooding that will continue, significant loss of power and property. I think some people are breathing a sigh of relief though, especially up where I am in Massachusetts.
