It's been a while since we did this, I always thought it was a good laugh. Shall we try it again?
Here's how it goes:
I name a movie
Somebody names an actor from that movie
Somebody else names another movie that actor was also in
Rinse and repeat
I'll kick it off with an easy one....
The Godfather
I'm not sure anyone actually reads Time magazine anymore. Newsweek just rolled out it's last print copy this month...Anyway, their "honor" is about as useless as a Nobel Peace Prize
Just saw it on delay...abysmal first half, better start to the second, but then gave up two quick and easy goals. Lowton looked totally out of his depth at points. We're missing Vlaar's leadership at the back, and frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing Richard Dunne back there. That was just brutal defending.
But the continuing narrative is our weak midfield. The likes of Bale and Dembele are like a tank division against infantry. No contest.
12 goals allowed in consecutive matches is relegation form, Lerner better splash some cash before this thing gets uglier.
Looks like we might get a white Christmas here in New England
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas
I've asked Santa for win on Wednesday
UTV!
I couldn't help but enjoy watching mouth breathing Eli take the loss today, even though it wasn't his fault. His face just infuriates me, he's such a backwoods, nose picking goober. Fine QB, clutch, etc., but what a window licking snot rag of an individual. He's like Gary Neville without the surprising upside.
Strange season, these results are just all over the place. Wide open field in terms of contenders for the trophy. I suppose maybe Denver could be considered the favorite based on their win streak. Colts at Denver is a possibility, which would be a great game. Even better if it were in Indy, even though I hate domes.
Pats need Gronk back in a big way.
Nah, it won't. You're putting far too much importance on it. The entire season will define the season. The next game will be just one game that we might get a decent result from, or might not.
It should be noted that Chelsea were playing like a world class side today. That first goal from Torres was a cut above. We didn't cover ourselves with glory, but the way Chelsea were playing, they'd have beaten every other team in the division.
He's despised by a lot of people here too, actually. "Cambridge Liberal", and all that.
But you're right, he's not a dummy. He's well informed, and just as qualified as Ted Kennedy Jr. He also has millions of dollars and name recognition. I doubt he'll run this time around, but I wouldn't put it past him down the road.
