I can't recall 2 rookie QB's having such epic seasons before...and the kid Morris from Washington has run for over 1,600 yards with a running QB. Incredible. Imagine what his total would've been with a pocket QB instead of Griffin

Ernest Shackleton deserves a nod, based entirely on what he did after his ship was crushed into splinters by ice. The fact that not one of his crewman died during that nightmare is just incredible. A great testament to human endeavor and endurance.

To be fair, I think Benteke and Weimann have a good understanding. Give Andy more of a free role behind Benteke, and the goals should be there. But in order to make that partnership more effective, the midfield needs fixing, in a big way.

There's a vid of him and his wife's last 20 minutes before they're lined up and shot. Fascinating and grim viewing. They had such an psychological grip on the people, the soldiers were still scared of them to the very last.

If 30,000 supporters paid $5000 each, we could offer Lerner a decent profit on his Villa experiment and still have money left over for transfers. Then we'd have control of the club. Of course, because it's my idea, I'd be Director of Football Operations. I'd bring back John the Chronicler, change the club crest back to something that doesn't make your eyes bleed, renovate the North Stand, push for a safe standing area in the Lower Holte, lower ticket prices, expand the Villa brand in Asia, and ban players from wearing neon boots...for starters.

I had a Kiwi flatmate a long time ago who kept a jar of the stuff in the cupboard. I eventually worked up the courage to try it, and it wasn't bad. I also had a Brummie flatmate (Bluenose) who kept Spotted Dick in the cupboard...kept well the f*ck away from that
