Anyone planning on playing the online release? They've made it Mac-friendly, so it'd be my first look at anything by them...they also say you don't need a monster machine to run it, so it's looking likely that I'll check it out. I need some fantasy world immersion, this real world is tedious.

Nvidia GeForce 9400...the frame rate was shocking, just total lag, and blurry all around.

I think it's fair to say that this will be the most important transfer window in years, and maybe ever, considering the TV money at stake...this will be a tooth and nail fight to the end even if we strengthen the side. If we don't get some quality players that can come right into the team....

Bought it, but it won't run properly with what I'm using for a graphics card, even though the Steam site said it would Steam credited my account at least. Bummer though, it looks like a good one.

Lescott on a loan deal with the option to sign at the end of the season would be good business. He'd want to come here too, and sign a new deal as well, probably.

Got home from work at 11:30 PM, and watched the festivities in Times Square on the television. Why would you want to be packed standing shoulder to shoulder in a group of thousands of strangers on a freezing night? I never understood the appeal. In the bar business we call NYE "Amateur Night"...the best place to be, in my opinion, is in a warm home, away from all the drunken knuckleheads.

She supported the Botha regime, Pinochet, Reagan's Central American policy, war over diplomacy in the Falklands, and her domestic agenda crippled the working and middle classes. She was also a skilled politician and ruthless, with little regard for the transparent P.R. tactics that are commonplace amongst politicians today. Her outward demeanor was cold and snobbish as well, so if you didn't agree with her philosophically, her exaggerated mannerisms probably made you despise her even more.
