  1. 4-3-3 Lowton Vlaar Clark New RB (please) Gabby Sylla Zog Weimann Ireland Benteke Sylla and Ireland playing just behind their lines
  2. I already feel bad for the kid, he's what, 21years old, and he's supposed to save our season? Too much pressure on him.
  3. People who say things like "I'm in a really good place right now"

When clubs like Reading see our results, it gives them greater incentive to go out and try and get points.
  5. Not too bothered what club he's coming from. Roy Keane came from Cobh Ramblers, ffs... Get him in!

19th with a -26 goal difference. We're as good as down I'd say.
  7. There's no sense in spunking all that money on a striker who will not have the likes of Xavi and Iniesta feeding him the ball for 90 minutes. We need help in defense and midfield.

I depends- If you paid for "Premium Membership", you can play speed games. If not, you can only play 24 hour games (each player has 24 hours to take their turn). That said, a couple of us have premium membership, and can invite whomever to private speed games...but this has proven to be a bit difficult- trying to get 4 people together at the same time for up to 2 hours.

The two slugs in our Germany game are doing my **** head in. How do two players miss turns in a 24 hour game?
  10. Well, seeing as I've never played any ES games, I won't have anything to compare it to and be disappointed with...the things they're talking about look better than WoW, so what the hell.

My one gripe with the game is that the interface is really spazzy. The drop down lists for countries and troops are very jumpy. You click on one thing, and it turns out to be another. It's tripped me up several times, and I'm VERY ANGRY Who is up for a speed game at 8PM?
  12. Shame we didn't make 3 signings 4 losses ago.
  13. I believe he meant that within a footballing context...You could spare us the preaching.
  14. Vlaar probably has a relegation release clause in his contract Gabby would probably stay. He's getting a little older, a little slower, and he's scoring less. Not many suitors for Gabby, I think. I think he'd want to stay and fight to get us promoted, being a Villa boy and all.
  15. They loved Gazza He'll be back, and he just might bring Ronaldo with him...
  16. Hasn't Ferguson said he wants Marcelo Lippi to take over when he retires? Anyways, I think Mourinho will be back in England next season, and it'll be with Man City.
  17. Baker at LB doesn't fill me with confidence...but Bennett doesn't either, so I'll agree with you, this should be the starting XI every game. And make Weimann captain, he's got guts, desire, and he's full of piss and vinegar. And he's confident and smart on the ball and off it.
  18. We'll lose to West Ham on a James Collins header, mark my words. 0-1 Somehow I think we can scrape out a point against Everton, probably 2-2 Walcott will toy with Bennett all day and we'll get smashed by them. 4-1 Man City will probably field a weak side, giving us a glimmer of hope, but their benchwarmers are better than our starters. 2-0 Fact is, many of the fixtures that were marked as realistically winnable have already come and gone, with us taking nothing from them, which will ultimately sink us. Losing to Wigan, Soton and Newcastle at home...we deserve to be right where we are. And God help us if it comes down to a tiebreaker. On goal difference, we're completely f*cked.
  19. If any of them do, I wouldn't want to get out of bed in the morning if I was them...
  20. Baker is a clown, a fit Dunne should be in there instead of him, pronto.
  21. Yep, the players are not good enough either, as I mentioned as well...but they're not improving under Lambert, that's my point.
  22. It's clear that the manager and his assistants are not doing enough to put the players in a position to grind out some ugly draws and wins. Yes, he's got a skeleton crew of inexperienced youth and underperforming veteran cash vacuums. Nonetheless, we really should have more points. The Liverpool win should have been used as a springboard, but it was not, and that's down to the manager, in my opinion. Lerner is an entirely different thing, Lambert, and he'd probably be the first to admit it, has been doing a very poor job.
