It was always going to be a difficult task at Goodison, against a talented side fighting for a CL spot. Benteke has shown that he alone can win games, or at least draw them. His first goal today was conjured out of nothing. There are times, when we are on the front foot, that we look like a pretty good side. I haven't given up hope. I think we have decent enough players to realistically grind out enough points to stay up. UP THE VILLA

His problems are mental, more than anything, it's not lack of talent. I agree that we need him to start the rest of the way, and play the full 90. Subbing him off was a mistake today, IMO.

KEA should have been a figure skater, that's how little he brings to the team. Sylla is very raw, he's not going to do much for us, I don't think. Guzan is a warrior, Benteke a beast, but the rest of them cannot be 100% counted on. Vlaar was at fault for the tying goal. Teams will have a look at how Anichebe made Clark look like a schoolboy, and attempt to replicate that.

Just watched the match...there's really no way to sugarcoat that. It's 2 points dropped. We had the game well in hand, and we blew it, yet again. On a corner, yet again. In stoppage time, yet again. I'm surprised we didn't complete the collapse and lose it at the very end there. Sick to my stomach, this is like psychological warfare, and I'm losing the battle.

He's big and athletic, so if he can put in a decent tackle and control the ball with just a medium degree of efficiency, it'll be an improvement on what we've got.

It's possible that Lerner and Faulkner knew that relegation was a distinct possibility, so that's why they hired Lambert, who has a great record of getting his teams promoted. Piss poor strategy which really isn't a strategy at all. If you knew that someone was going to give you 70 dollars in August, but in order to get that 70 dollars, you had part with 20 right now, why on Earth would you not do it? Baffling and really distressing.

The pace of these games suck, but I find myself playing better in them than the speed ones. I tend to make at least one awful mistake in the speed games, and usually it's enough to ruin any chance at victory.

The final "30 Rock" airs tonight. You could see them stretching a bit this season, so it's a good thing they're calling it quits. Funniest TV show ever.

We also can't score goals (2nd worst tally in the division) So if Dawkins can create chances and score a few goals himself, he'll be worth it.
