Justice was served yesterday in Guatemala- the ex-general/president Efrain Rios-Montt was sentenced to 80 years for genocide against the Mayans. Over 200,000 men, women and children were killed by him and his thug army. He's 80 something now, so his time behind bars won't be long. But he's where he belongs now. Huge turning point yesterday in the history of that country.

I was a best man once, and didn't have a speech prepared...mostly because I thought the marriage was a joke and didn't warrant the effort... (She asked for a divorce at the reception!) They ended up divorcing 4 years later... The speech itself was pretty awful to be honest...but at least I kept it short. When in doubt, just keep it short and sweet, you don't even need to be funny.
