I was gonna watch Iron Man 3 last night, but decided that seeing 1 and 2 was probably enough Instead I watched The Conjuring, based on a "true story"...if you believe in supernatural demonic possession and exorcisms....decent horror flick, stands out from most of the garbage of the genre.

Great news, but I'm a bit confused. Isn't the making/repealing of such laws the prerogative of the state legislatures? Never knew cities/counties had the autonomy to legalise marijuana for themselves. Yep, the governor (Tea Party mental case) will probably not let it stand, but it's a good start, symbolically at least.

Maine has already legalized medical marijuana statewide. Imagine that, legalizing a plant.

Watched "Cloud Atlas" last night, and really enjoyed it. It was a little hokey and whatnot, but it was still well done.

I have a three day weekend starting today

He's gone through two rounds of chemotherapy, and has responded well. He's gained some weight and is eating more. He's still helping around the house, doing little handyman jobs, so it's good to see. He's doing as well as possible. He'll have a round of chemo this month and another next, and then his oncologist will see if more chemo can help him, but said that most people don't respond to chemo after four rounds. So it's likely that the cancer will come back with a vengeance sometime in January, and it will probably be a matter of weeks to a couple of months until he's gone. But we will have one more Thanksgiving and Christmas with him, so we are grateful for that. Thanks for asking

This could work. Miami has a massive Colombian population, and sizable Brazilian, Venezuelan and Ecuadoran communities which would support the club, as well as the massive Americans-from-somewhere-else community that moved down there. The Beckham factor will be a draw for celebs and high profile players who want that glamor lifestyle.
