I wonder why people think "The Big Lebowski" is such a great film. I love the Coen Bros., but I thought they really failed with this effort. Boring and not funny.

In the States, Ye Olde Brick and Mortar Shoppes are losing considerable ground to websites. Online shopping has exploded. It's a lot easier to click a mouse than gas up the car and make five stops over the course of an afternoon or evening. I hate to see Mom and Pop stores close down, but between behemoths like Walmart, and all the online options, I can't see much of a future in retail for the little guy. Sad signs of the times

My Dad: Classic Rock, Blues, Soul, Jazz, Classical My Mum: Some Classic Rock (The softer stuff), Classical It's amazing how much classical music I recognize but have no idea who the composer is. The stuff I preferred as a kid were my Dad's records, like Jimi Hendrix, Stones, Aretha Franklin, Beatles. The classical was just too boring and grandiose, and I still think much of it is, but there is some fantastic classical music, no doubt.

I'd take him. He is looking for a loan back. Keane did well for us. The Seattle GM is quoted saying both sides are working on the deal...seems like Dempsey will be on his way to Villa Park...

Dempsey on loan would be a good move. He'd have less pressure to perform then when he was with Spurs.
