A person like Robert Kraft (owner of New England Patriots and MLS club Revolution) could be a decent fit. He could conceive of some sort of scenario whereby the Revolution could be a feeder club for Villa, and a club where young Villans can go cut their teeth at. He's a billionaire who took a crap NFL club and made them into the model franchise of the league, and he did it in under 10 years. He wouldn't get involved to be mediocre.

I don't even need Europa League status right now. I'd be HAPPY with 10th place, a couple of decent cup runs and good football on display by decent players. This teetering on the edge while playing abysmal football routine is too much to bear.

Yep, those small cities are basically an extension of Mass. Same with southern Maine and northern Rhode Island, for that matter.

Yeah, there are parts of NH and Maine that are very rural, and quite conservative, too. NASCAR and country music are big up there now, which I find funny and sad. Sometimes, I'll even see a Confederate flag. It's like some of them feel some kind of affinity for redneck culture. Part of that is probably due to a mutual disdain for Massachusetts.

I'm so used to it, it's not that bad. Only in crap weather does it seem to take forever. And listening to Maine radio these days, you'd think you were in Alabama- every other station plays country music or has some insane Pentecostal preacher yammering on about the End Times.

Just back from Maine, a normal 3 hour drive took 4+ due to snow and ice...just another winter in New England. Life must have really sucked back in England for the pilgrims to have stayed here! He saw it when it came out and really liked it, and has talked about it a few times over the years. We were gonna watch it last night, but he fell fast asleep after dinner...next time, I guess...
