If the cockpit was rushed and the plane crashed, you'd think one of these terrorist groups would have claimed responsibility. But not a peep. The area where people speculate it may have crashed is well travelled by freighters...but nothing...if the plane was in a nosedive, then maybe the entirety of the thing went straight underwater and whatever scraps remaining on the surface are just too minuscule to have been detected yet. Strange case.

Kemp seems to miss major chunks of seasons every other season. He hasn't actually strung together two all star type seasons. And he's only getting older. And Crawford is not gonna do much of anything. Which makes the deal we made with them all the more amazing that we pulled it off. That they couldn't see he was no longer the player he was in TB... Ervin Santana to Atlanta, which they needed badly with Beachy and Medlen hurting. Good signing by them.

I had an eye doctor appointment yesterday (first time at that office), and when I entered the building and approached the front desk, the women behind the desk just looked at me blankly. I had to initiate the hellos and explain to them why I was there. I don't look particularly scary or unusual, so I was a little miffed at the lack of courtesy. I got an email from the practice today, asking me to fill out a survey and make suggestions/comments. I filled it out and included the awkward front desk encounter. But I deleted it and never responded back. Something about it felt like I'd be ratting those old ladies out and maybe creating problems for them. But the lack of professional courtesy is really irritating, and you'd think women in their 60's would have better manners than that in an office setting....

If FOX are gonna plug into the Sky feed and do us the favor of listening to Martin Tyler and Gary Neville, why don't they just plug into the entire Sky broadcast, including the studio analysis? They could fire the idiots they currently employ in studio, and save a bit of cash. Does anyone really think Brian McBride is going to say anything interesting?
