    The Culverhouse/Karsa calamity makes Lambert look very bad, in addition to all the well documented on the pitch stuff. It suggests that he either knew and tacitly gave his approval, or somehow didn't know. Either way, he looks weak and needs to go.

    He's still made more money than me and you (I'm assuming) for kicking the ball around with the team during the week and then getting a front row seat to Villa matches. He understood the constraints going in, so I don't feel bad for him. I do wish him well for the future. He's still a young guy and should get plenty of opportunities to improve on his time with Villa.

    Lambert has not hurt his reputation too badly, so I expect him to get a job again soon. The Fulham job would be a great one for him. I wish him the best.

    He absolutely loved it, as did I. When he finally twigged where we were heading on the journey over he nudged me and said "Am I here for an interview for the managers job?" If there's anyone that hasn't taken the tour I can heartily recommend it. Standing in the tunnel, the team intro music belting out and walking out to the pitch certainly made the hairs stand up on my neck. I turned around to my dad at that exact point and said "how anyone can't be psyched up to play for us after that is just beyond me". Great stuff, man
