How many of them did Lambert sign? Like I said I'm happy Lambert is steering the ship as that means we probably aren't interested. But Lambert isn't at the meetings to negotiate wages, he's on holiday (according to Okore). Faulkner is there and if the Milner/Ireland swap is anything to go by he's happy to drop our drawers and lube us up.

Kanye's just one in a long list of people who I enjoy watching perform but think they're words removed. Suarez, Mayweather, Downey Jr and Nick Diaz immediately spring to mind. I'm not sure if these piss me off really.

I don't really follow this. Have you seen our squad? Ireland, Bent, Hutton, Given and the recently released Dunne are testament to the fact our board are **** happy to mug themselves silly. The only way Barry joins us is if we're paying him more than we're paying Bent IMO and sadly I think Randy and Faulkner would fall for that. Thankfully I don't think Lambert is interested.

I'm aware we would make an offer we deem acceptable. My point is that it's **** pointless unless he or City are happy to take a financial hit for our sake. Is there anything to suggest either of them would or are we just offering pay cuts to people in the hope that they have contract signing tourettes?

Afaik he earns more than Westwood, Sylla, Delph, KEA, Bannan, Herd, Gardner and Bacuna combined. How would we fit him in to our apparent wage structure? We make him an offer of wages we deem acceptable. We don't actually NEED to give him what he's on at City or anything like it you know He'll just take a >60% pay cut out of the goodness of his heart or are we expecting Citeh to subsidise the rest?

As a club Liverpool are massive but they haven't played CL football since 2009 and only about 4 of their current squad were with them then. Financially they're still in with the top 5, football wise they're not. I think mid table would imply they might finish bottom half which they just won't, IMO they're whatever the level between top 5 and mid table is, as are Everton.

Weimann wasn't on holiday. He came back after his internationals and went to Vegas after he signed. I'm not saying Benteke couldn't have done the same but nobody is signing a contract watching while they're playing blackjack or watching Penn & Teller or whatever.

Left-footer can provide an advantage with corners or direct free kick on the right side of the pitch. Why would Lambert not care about that? Because Bannan's corners aren't in swinging or out swinging so they could be taken by either foot. Have you ever seen footage of one of them? If not, imagine someone taking a corner with a 9 iron.

What criteria is that based on out of interest. Did they finish 2nd in the league? No they finished 7th. 2nd biggest in terms of revenue? No they're 5th. Wages? 5th. Attendance? 5th. History? 2nd. Aha! I take it we're 4th/5th biggest then.
