I can't really make head nor tail of this. I disagree about Weidman's power being nothing special but it doesn't matter either way. He has enough power to knock AS over if he catches him which is all that is relevant. That was one of the few things we weren't sure of going into the fight. Silva only looks like he barely notices shots he's 'hit' with usually because he rolls with the shots. This is easy for him because he's very good and 90% of his opponents throw very easy to predict alternating combinations (LRLRLRLR etc). Weidman didn't do this, hence the lying on the floor unconscious. IIRC Weidman landed a power double from miles away without setting it up with strikes or a TD combo in the first 20 seconds. Why would he not get the chance?

I hope he returns too. The bookies will make him a heavy favourite again even though he's now lost the aura and we now know for a fact Weidman has the power to KO him.

What the **** has growing got to do with it? It doesn't matter if he's stopped growing, still growing or growing **** tomatoes in his green house. Draxler is so far our of our reach it's **** laughable. Last year someone suggested De Rossi and it was pointed out that he was on £150k/week with 5 years left on his contract and captain of his home town team who happen to play CL football. This wouldn't be as ridiculous as that until you include the £7m price which not only takes the biscuit, it takes the whole **** plate.

He failed a medical because of a knee injury. I heard he did it when he found out what Hull was like and fell to his knees screaming "Why, God, Why?!"

Squat/dl are the best out of a normal strength/hypertrophy routine but if you could only do one lift for the rest of your life then clean and jerk/press would be the best IMO. I don't know why that would ever be your situation though.

Like Jim says, we've finally got a guy who's fully competent fighting our corner. The only thing I'm concerned about is conceding goals and tbh Okore's arrival has at least quelled that worry until further evidence is available.

I see your point but would take a brave man to walk off KO on Anderson Silva. In other news: Gosh darn it Roger! Ruined a nearly excellent accumulator for me. At least Dana seems sure of a rematch (Silva-Weidman) where Silva will no doubt be heavily odds on again.

The spurs home long sleeve is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for our away top to be. Lovely.

I'm greatful for his contribution last season but **** me is this a let down. It might be with a new contract negotiation in mind, but I doubt it. As long as we get £25m now it would have to be seen as a good return. Hoping he gets an injury or his career falls apart or whatever reflects badly on the fanbase, please don't do that.
