We have several good players, a few competent ones and a few who are very overrated. Some who played last night have poor close control which boggles my mind. How can they possibly play international football and need 3 touches and lots of room to control the ball? This isn't the odd error either, this is 50% of the time they receive the ball.

Nobody thinks he's Messi or Suarez. The problem people have with kiwi's posts are that saying a guy who scored 8 in his last 15 could score 15 in his next 38 is optimistic, and definitely not "nonsense" or "dreaming".

He had 2 good halves last time the club had a good season. Anyway, he's now coming into his prime (26 years old) playing under a better coach with a better player leading the line than he's ever had before.

They got all of their deals out of they way before selling Bale to avoid overpaying, except for Benteke obviously. Never mind that if cash flow was the issue they could have bought Benteke first (before he signed a contract and they signed Soldado) and saved themselves £10m+ because while his price has now shot up, they paid Soldado's release clause anyway.
